Terms of Service

Current adopted terms: June 2026

1. Acceptance and Revision Status

By accessing and using Huddle Marketplace ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the currently adopted terms.

Revision status: Huddle's formal revised platform terms remain under independent legal review. The current availability and risk language below is a public summary; it does not replace or amend an executed agreement. Account, privacy, lease, bond, custody, settlement, and other product-specific terms presented to the relevant parties continue to control.

2. Platform Description

Huddle provides software and records for tenancy-related bond workflows, payment evidence, and portable HuddleBadge history. The current creation flow is configured for BTC denomination. Live funding and settlement depend on eligibility, feature flags, required approvals, and availability. A USDC or CAD-denominated configuration may be offered only after Huddle confirms the approved partner, jurisdiction, eligibility, custody and settlement structure, and product-specific terms. Huddle does not provide investment advice or promise profit, yield, or a return.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Huddle cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.

4. On-Chain Transactions

HuddleBond settlement and HuddleBadge records are anchored on Base using cbBTC and other on-chain transactions. On-chain transactions can be irreversible. Once executed, they may not be reversible except through the applicable lease, bond release, or claim process.

Important: You are responsible for reviewing bond and settlement details before confirming any on-chain action. The Platform presents all material terms before execution.

5. HuddleBond — Asset Terms and Risk Disclosures

A HuddleBond records a tenancy-related obligation in the denomination and exact units stated in the bond terms. The current creation flow is configured for BTC denomination and, when funding and settlement are enabled, uses the disclosed cbBTC custody and settlement configuration on Base. Live execution remains subject to eligibility, feature flags, required approvals, and availability. Displaying another asset in a roadmap, policy file, or disabled selector does not make it available.

Bitcoin and Wrapped-Asset Risk: Bitcoin and cbBTC are volatile. The fiat value of the recorded units can fall, including below the amount originally contributed. Wrapped assets also carry custodian, issuer, redemption, network, smart-contract, and operational risks. Past performance does not predict future results.

Stablecoin Risk: If a USDC or CAD-denominated stablecoin configuration is separately approved and offered, the asset can lose its intended reference value, become illiquid or unavailable, or be affected by issuer, reserve, redemption, custody, counterparty, smart-contract, regulatory, and currency risks. The word "stablecoin" does not mean the asset or its fiat value is guaranteed.

No Deposit Insurance or Return Promise:Digital assets used with HuddleBond are not bank deposits, are not FDIC or NCUA insured, and may not be protected by SIPC. Huddle does not promise principal value, profit, interest, yield, or any other return. Any separately offered rewards or yield program would require its own eligibility criteria, provider terms, risk disclosures, and legal approval; none is offered by these Terms.

Product-Specific Terms Control: Before consent, review the bond's denomination, exact units, custody, fees, settlement, claim rights, jurisdiction disclosures, and material risks. Those product-specific terms govern the bond. If required information is missing or inconsistent, do not fund the bond and contact Huddle support.

6. Huddle Badge

The Huddle Badge is a participant-controlled rent-history credential that summarizes verified evidence available to Huddle. A participant may choose to share a badge reference and supporting evidence with a receiving party.

Badge levels are calculated under the product rules displayed at the time of use. A badge is not a credit score and does not determine tenancy, credit, underwriting, or mortgage eligibility. Every receiving party decides independently whether and how to use it.

Where a badge reference is anchored on Base, the referenced record can be independently checked by address or token ID. Access to personal or supporting evidence remains subject to Huddle's privacy, consent, and sharing controls.

7. Limitation of Liability

Huddle provides the Platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for disputes between landlords and tenants, blockchain or network failures, third-party custodian or issuer failures, stablecoin depegging, or losses caused by digital-asset price changes. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Modifications

Huddle may update the public summary as product configurations and risks change. Changes to adopted terms take effect only through the applicable notice and consent process. A public-summary update does not silently replace an executed agreement.
