Understand the agreement before money moves.
Huddle provides software for deposit agreements, payment evidence, and rent-history records. These explanations do not replace your executed lease, bond, custody, or settlement terms.
Check the property location first
Huddle is in pilot. HuddleBond deposit funding is not live, and Huddle is not accepting deposits yet.
HuddleBond eligibility review is limited to properties in Texas and Florida. Funding and settlement require transaction approval and an available service. A supported location alone is not approval to fund.
British Columbia is a records-only pilot. Huddle deposit records, deadlines, and dispute workflows are available there, but HuddleBond is not, and Huddle holds no funds in British Columbia.
Properties elsewhere cannot currently proceed with HuddleBond. Contact us about future availability; there is no promised launch date.
Ask about your propertyWhat the location check means
HuddleBond property reviews are configured for Texas (US-TX) and Florida (US-FL). British Columbia (CA-BC) is a records-only pilot: deposit records, deadlines, and dispute workflows are available, but HuddleBond is not, and Huddle holds no funds there. Every other jurisdiction: not currently enabled for HuddleBond v1.
The property address determines the review. A location check does not certify legality or establish that funding is available. Missing authority, required approval, or service availability can stop a transaction.
How a HuddleBond would be held (not live)
The HuddleBond deposit product is not live. Huddle is in pilot and is not accepting deposits. How a deposit would be held, including the asset, the custodian, and the risks, would be set out in the agreement before anyone funds.
You still fund the full agreed obligation. Huddle does not reduce the upfront deposit or guarantee its dollar value. Before funding, review the exact asset amount, custody arrangement, claim rights, fees, and release terms for your bond.
Platform fees are separate from bond principal.
Read the custody and risk informationWho holds the assets?
No deposits are held today. The HuddleBond deposit product is not live; Huddle is in pilot and is not accepting deposits.
If funding becomes available, your transaction must identify the custody arrangement, who controls transfers, beneficial ownership, redemption and settlement terms, and what happens if a provider fails. If these details are missing or inconsistent, do not fund; contact Huddle.
A claim path both sides can follow
Process overview, not a live claim. Deadlines and release conditions depend on the property, agreement, and applicable law.
- 01
Lease ends
Check the dates and notice requirements in your agreement and applicable local rules.
- 02
Claim and evidence
The landlord submits any claim and supporting evidence within the applicable claim window.
- 03
Tenant response
Both parties review the claim and supporting records. A disputed claim is not treated as consent.
- 04
Release and resolution
Amounts not in dispute and any disputed remainder follow the bond terms, required approvals, and applicable law. Courts and housing tribunals retain their authority.
- 05
Settlement record
Confirm the recipient, asset amount, and settlement status. A submitted request is not proof that funds arrived.
Fees and principal stay separate
Stripe is used for platform billing, never to fund bond principal. The first three active HuddleBonds per landlord organization have no bond platform charge. Additional active bonds require an approved monthly rate.
Review the named payer, any separate plan charges, and any applicable funding or settlement costs before commitment. Platform fees are not deducted from bond principal.

- HuddleBond funding is not live. No deposits are accepted today.
- If a deposit product is offered later, its asset, custody, network, and settlement risks will be set out in product-specific terms before any funding. No dollar floor or return is promised.
- Digital assets are not bank deposits, are not FDIC or NCUA insured, and may not be protected by SIPC.
- A claim right is not insurance or a guarantee against an asset-value shortfall.
